Fun in the Sun

riariAm back from San Francisco and Yaoi-con and boy was it fun! (Actually, I got back on Monday evening but close enough. ^_^)
I bought lots of stuff, books and doujinshi. I think I spent nearly $400 worth. But I have a lot of nice yaoi to look at now.
I even got a nice Zack/Cloud doujinshi which I wouldn't have even gotten had the dealer not pointed it out to me. Got several Auron/Tidus doujinshi, one or two Harry Potter ones (no slash unfortunately), several Hikaru no Go, and some American doujinshi like from P.L. Nunn and Minkland, and a few others.
Kinokuniya is evil in that I bought several manga from them, but Aestheticism was eviler with several Mika Sadahiro's works. Ended up digging through their manga and the manga next to the booth I was working at several times. So I ended up with lots of books. I sent most of the more, ahem, "questionable" books as check in luggage since the little incident with the 20-year-old idiot and the boxcutters, I was afraid they might search my bags so into the box the hardcore and "oh, he looks a little too young" stuff went. ^_^;;;
I'm waiting for another cold front to move in the area since it will move out this high pressure and the horrible air with it. Urg, my sinuses don't like me at the moment. And it might be colder for Halloween. ^_^ Hopefully, my costume will be done, or mostly done on time. I got the wig and the jewelry already. Just need the dress.

Date: 2003-10-28 09:08 pm (UTC)There were Harry Potter doujinshi, but I couldn't find too many of them. Then again, I didn't get the chance to to look until mid-Saturday. The only pairing one I could find that had the pairing listed on the book cover was a Harry/Sirius/James doujin. -_-;; The ones I got was a few cute ones. But again, no slash.
