Eyes Okay...now what?
Mar. 3rd, 2008 03:06 pmI've been having pretty bad headaches this last two weeks...though they seemed to be getting better in the last two days. But to make sure, my dad gave me money to go visit my optomotrist since a lot of the headaches were focused over my eyes.
Now I can mostly focus properly after my eye exam, as they usually dilate my eyes near the end of the exam, here are the results. My perscription, pressure, etc, did not change. After describing my symptoms and running through the exam my doctor suggested that since the headaches spiked in the last couple of weeks, they may be sinus headaches. Especially since I've woken up with a bad headache in the last week. Apparently I'm not the only one suffering these symptoms as two of his staff had the same thing. And we've been having a lot of cold fronts with storms pushing through the area. Pressure changes and so on. Also could be related that we're warming up to spring temperatures and some flowers are already blooming. I also have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders lately so that was not helping.
So, he suggested possibly taking a low level histamine or warm showers in the morning. If they persist, then possibly try to figure out the triggers and go to the doctor.
At least my perscription didn't change. It's already bad enough. :>
