riariAnnnnd I just realized I didn't post my on-going reading list for this year yet. Go me. So two months under the cuts. :)
January:
Natsume's Book of Friends Vol. 01 (Very cute and funny supernatural book about Natsume inheriting his grandmother's book of yokai names, also known as her book of friends. Since having a yokai's name means that you can command them, they're very interested in getting their name back. I really enjoyed reading this book and definitely recommend it if you want something episodic and funny and heartwarming at the same time. Helps having a yokai with a lucky cat form. :D )
The President's Time(Yaoi. Funny book, I rather enjoyed it as a president of a beauty product company tries to be evil. And fails spectacularly.)
February:
Pandora hearts Vol. 01 (I really enjoyed this one. Defintely a nice mix of alice in wonderland, oz, baskervilles, and some other elements that made me very interested in this series. Can't wait to read Vol. 02.)
DNAngel Vol. 13 (So even more of the family Niwa and Hikari history has been revealed. Interesting. Though I bet it will be a while before we get to see the next volume.)
Rasetsu Vol. 03 (Hijinks continute :D Well as Rasetsu tries to figure out if she's falling for Yako, Yako's old friend's brother shows up. And we get a cute story about Aoi at the end of the volume.)
Gestalt Vol. 01 (Well the manga pulled ahead of the OVAs really fast. :) I've been wanting to read this series ever since I saw the anime for it. It's been interesting so far and lots of hints. Looking forward to reading the next vol.)
Angel Diary Vol. 10 (I love this series. :D It's just so fun. So this volume is full of fighting, and hashing out family problems, and more fighting. And Dong-Young running around with a sword. :) )
Nabari no Ou Vol. 02 (The plot gets serious fast, as the Shinra Bansho is sought after. We get a bit of Raimei's past. Still really good and while I haven't quite caught up with the anime yet - well as far as I saw of it anyways - I doubt it won't take much longer.)
