Preview of the Halloween event on CoH

So, on the City of Heroes' Test server yesterday, they tested for an hour and a half the upcoming Halloween event. There's a new invasion event that needed testing.
So, as part of the usual Trick or Treating, Eochai and Jack in Irons, and so on attacking Paragon City, there's a new enemy in town.
The Zombie Apocalypse.
Like the Rikti invasions, they're an event that changes the environment. I didn't get to test this, but I've been reading about it on the threads in the Test forum. But apprarently, the skies turn red, eerie music starts up, and like the Rikti invasions, you probably don't want to stay still for too long. And you might want to keep an eye on the ground.
CoH forum user Fearghas posted these pictures from the invasion:
The blood red sky
Offshore zombies
One of many kinds of zombie lieutenants
Another zombie lieutenant
Zombie Boss
Elite Boss
Pumpkin Head

Of course, my worries is how the lag will be. I heard it was pretty bad, but the Testing environment is a little tough to see how bad it is versus the varying population size on the twelve servers. Thankfully, they're not using the Banished Pantheon mobs, which are notorious in killing dial-up connections. In Dark Astoria, it used to take three disconnects before I could get to the mission door I needed thanks to those mobs. It's fixed to a point where I can move in the zone now but if I attack them, boom, lagged out again.
The prevailing theory on the Test forum is that they're testing the Halloween event so early, because Test server might be testing an issue when they would normally test the Halloween event coding. We shall see.
