I, uh, wanted to post today. So I shall talk about: a game!
Actually yesterday I felt the need to escape my house, so I went to the area I refer to as the explosion of commerce, which is also the closest area to me that I know of which has a bookstore. While my credit union there held depressing news, success was found at Half-Price Books.
See, I picked up Dreamfall two weeks ago. But I wanted to play the prequel first, in case there was any story parts I would miss. So yesterday I went looking and found The Longest Journey. And it was cheaper than Dreamfall so I picked it up. (Yeah, I know I could have borrowed it.) Oh and Petshop of Horrors v. 10. So now I'm only missing two-three books from the series.
Now here's the shocking part. I not only installed the game, I actually played a bit of it. I'm a little ways in the first chapter. This game really does remind me a lot of the Kings Quest type of games. Point and click everything. :> Oh and solve small puzzles along the way. The graphics are dated (though it would be better if anti-aliasing were applied liberally) but not too bad. I stopped just before sending April, the main character, on her way from the intersection of pathways near the clock.
So, now, a poll! Because I can, and because I'm been debating this for a few days. (Also, because I can't afford Crisis Core right now. Grrrr.)
