riariYay, a new month is here. Still sick of course. I'm on the second (third?) day of "why am I at work...oh yeah, no one else here." Luckily, Sunday is covered, so I plan to sleep and veg and play City of Heroes and read. Which hopefully I can get some sleep soon. I've been visited by the interrupted sleep fairy four nights in a row. I plan to catnap some more before my coworker leaves today at five.
Fafner vol. 7 is coming in Thursday. Woo! Now I get to see the end of the series. I waited after watching vol. 04 to finish the series. So I plan to watch vol. 4 again because so much happened on that volume and then marathon the rest. This hopefully will happen next Sunday.
And speaking of City of Heroes, I finally, finally have finished downloading all of the I7 and patches needed to play. After loading two of my characters and realizing I didn't really want to jump into playing them yet, I apparently decided to try making the new archer I've been wanting to. With the new costume pieces (aka the Villain costumes and I think a few more) from I7, I made a male character that I like. (Though, I must say I was a bit intrigued that you could practically make a male character in (I think it was) bondage gear. *evil grin*)
So, I now have a Archery/Energy Blaster named Sirian. He's sorta very loosely based on one of my original fictional characters with the same name. I even typed up a bio on him and everything. While he's still in the Outbreak tutorial (hey, why not? Easy two levels there), I already managed to get him the Contaminated Badge for "killing" a hundred Contaminated. I heard about the badge on the CoH boards, so decided last night to try for it. It's pretty neat though. Need to keep my distance for the Archery primary but if an enemy gets too close, the knockback on the Energy secondary keeps them away. This looks to be very fun one to play. I'll throw a picture up tonight when I get home.

sarcastic_elf, Archery is a Blaster subset, but Defenders also have Trick Arrow which another archery set.)
Now to go change my work Di Gi Charat calendar. (What...? It was free. And its cute. :P)
