It's good to be home.

Lots of interesting things happened this weekend. Just lots. The convention seemed okay but was slower than last year.

I got the following from this convention:
-3 manga: DNAngel Vol. 11, E's Vol. 12, and Crimson Spell Vol. 01.
-9 doujinshi: most of the them Omega 2-D's stuff which I have troubles getting. And I got the first five Gravitation Remixes compiled in just two doujinshi.
-Kingdom Hearts fastners - expensive but I've been wanting them and this is the first time I could get ahold of them.
-3 prints from the Fullmetal Alchemist movie: The Conquerer of Shambala.
-8 pencilboards: three Loveless, one Kyo Kara Maoh, one Tsubasa movie, one xxxHolic movie, one Azumi Tohru artwork and one for the Sukisyo! anime
-1 xxxHolic movie clearfile

Interesting and not so interesting things that happened:

-Banged my head really hard on a metal crosspiece under the table while crawling underneath. Had a nice bruise for a few days.

-I got to watch a good amount of Anime Boston's music video finalists as their booth for the convention was across from ours. They were playing DVDs they made from the convention events. One very kind Anime Boston personel blocked the view of a very spoiling music video of Fullmetal Alchemist. The movie pictures are already spoilerly enough. This is one series I do not want to get spoiled on. Thank you, Anime Boston person!

-Sorted through most of a box of hentai doujinshi in my hotel room. Though I did get to read/flip through some very sweet Kenshin/Kaoru ones. Nice to see some consensual stuff after going through the not-so-much ones. They were drawn very nicely too!

-Two people on Sunday took two pictures of my shirt. I was wearing my Potter Puppetpals "Cornucopia of love" t-shirt.

-Small hyperactive kids poking at my chest while waiting for the plane to arrive. I was wearing the above t-shirt and they were asking what it was. One of them was sitting next to me and was poking the characters and asking who they were. They thought they were the Teen Titans for some reason.

-I got to see beautiful rain clouds painted by the seting sun while the plane was going around them. It was just gorgeous.

The thing that was most thought provoking: at the BWI airport, as I was in line to board the plane, I heard clapping at a nearby gate. And I got to see why when they got closer. The people in the area was clapping as a group of military personel in full gear had just arrived from the gate. I assume they had just came back from active duty. I clapped along with them. It made me think: they had the guts/want/courage to join the military. They do what many people in our country would choose not to do unless forced to. I know that unless I was forced, I would not join. I don't think it's for me. But I'm glad that others do want to join.

I know more happened that I wanted to write about, but I'm tired from school today. So, brain no worky. Though it looks like I can keep all three classes. I think the work will balance out... Just watch me be totally stressed out by the end of the semester from all the projects due.

Nearly 2 hours of downloading later....

Holy crap! Damn teaser trailer! This one is MUCH better! Makes me want to have the soundtrack too. ^_^ Groovy!Dumbledore is awesome!

I believe there will be an official trailer released for the movie around September or so. Kinda like when Azkaban was released there was the teaser six months in advance then the one that had more of the story a couple of months before the movie was released. (I can't remember when, had to be around September.) Hmm, I hope it'll be attached to a movie we want to see. ^_^
