Woe is School

riariWell, I survived school. I'm still shocked by how little people know almost standard programs like Excel, but since my major deals with databases, maybe that's why. ^_^ One class got out early...a whole two and a half hours early. Which normally I would be happy, but I got to the campus by 12 p.m. and my other class is from 7-10 p.m. So, I ended up being stuck on campus for many, many hours.
Next week if this happens again, I'm going off campus to hit a book store. There are not a lot of cushy areas to just plop down and read there. Nor quiet areas either...unless I go to the library but I don't think they would allow me to have a drink (either bottled or of the Starbucks variety) in there. ^_^
But the classes were okay and not bad at all. I had troubles with my account being locked out...hopefully that will be fixed by next Tuesday.
I'm back at work today after having it off for school yesterday. And boy do I realize that I need to start looking for a new job. I'm not happy here anymore. I would like to find something in the book industry. I just need to hammer out my resume...and start quietly looking. ^_^
I want a Ravenclaw scarf. I know one or two of those house quizzes has put me there...or Hufflepuff. ^_^; I like Slytherin but cunning I am not.
