Well, I had a post, but my explorer ate it. Urg.

Anyway, the gist was: Bush bad...and stupid for thinking up this. Thanks to fyredancer who wrote a rant about it and Lunar who pointed this out, as I ignore the news and didn't even see this.

And am still reading through Sushi's fantastic The Last Battlefield in her Civil War universe. Am on chapter 11 and I can't seem to get enough time to read this. *sob* I must prevail!

Been pissy about Bush all week. I can only hope that he keeps doing outlandishly right-wing things that don't actually affect government, alienates the majority, and gets the boot next year.

Er, and there seems to be a friending etiquette on LJ. Like, you're supposed to tell people (in some cases even ask @_@;) if you're going to friend them. I completely don't get it, but usually say something to someone anyway just so they don't think I'm a creepy stalker.

If you haven't noticed yet, but I did friend you. ^_^ Thanks for friending me. I am figuring this out more and more. Just need to get used to this all. Thanks for the code! (If I hadn't said that yet. My memory is so non-existant lately.)

I'm hoping for a new president myself. We've had our fun with this one. Time to get a new one, especially since dragging the US into a war that we may or may not had to have done and getting the US involved in a country that we will be involved with now for years until maybe, just maybe, it might get resolved. But as for political issues, that's the most I think I will say on it because I don't follow the news and have no real political standing.

Why does this remind me of Vietnam all of the sudden?? Hmm...

Oh, don't think I said this yet, but I love the icon about the tissues. ^___^
