Oct. 15th, 2005 01:18 pmI was evilly tempted at Fry's yesterday and failed...
I bought City of Heroes. ^_^ I liked playing the trial so much that I now own the game. Curses, their ploy worked!! It's just so odd that before this game, I wasn't keen on MMORPGs since they don't seem have an ending or a really connected storyline. (That and my connection speed will make a lot of them just not really worth playing.) But this one is just so fun to play right now. It helps that I have friends that I can bug for help if the areas get too hard. And I have a character that can solo with only a little difficulty. I spent like an hour last night reading the manual for the stuff I missed or haven't picked up on yet. The slang is another issue. mwerevu helped me through one mission for Perez Park. (Lowest level trial zone near the cities my butt. I'll take the Hollows over the packs that roam Perez. I at least got two missions done by myself (with only helpful assistance by local heroes) in the Hollows compared to the one mission I had to get help on to not die horribly.)
I'm also looking forward to City of Villains. That should be fun.

Now it's back to sorting doujinshi from the adult and not so adult...which considering this is the yaoi section, there's not that many explicit yaoi ones I've run into so far.
