I'm now finished with summer school! I took my final this morning at 8 a.m. And I managed to get my grade for my fourth test. And if I'm figuring this out right...I made a 100. 0_0
Wow. Well, I get to get my final grade on the 7th or I can wait until grades are posted for Summer I. Though I'll definitely try to get the grade. I'm really curious now what I made on the final.
July is looking pretty good. ^_^ June was...busy. Best I can say for that month.
Also, I'm very near the end of Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell. It's just really, really getting good. I'm sad that I have to stop listening to it when I arrive home or work or school. When Lascelles murdered Drawlight... I was kinda sad for Drawlight actually. I would have been quite happy for it to have have happened earlier in the book, especially when he was running around Venice spreading lies. But, after his run-in with Strange then his subsequent murder by Lascelles, I was unsettled. His vision of the trees came true.
I'm at chapter 65 right now. Four more to go. I'm eager to see if Stephan Black and Arabella will be released from their enchantment and how the two magicians meeting again will affect everything. I must say though, one of my favorite characters in the book, Childermass (which I thought was spelled Childerness from the way it was said ^_^), is proving to be very interesting. I can't believe he just let Lascelles cut his face like that but he did get what he was after, in a fashion. Though his remark to John Segundus about the wound that it was mistaken for an orange amused me. Jonathan Strange is another one of my favorites. I like the voice given to both of them by Simon Prebble. I should be finished with this book before the Half-Blood Prince is released. Which is good. And I do believe I will actually read the new book pretty close to its release date unlike book 5. It took me two months before I actually sat down to read it. And school starting up again was the driving force on that one.
