Interesting
Nov. 4th, 2007 03:47 pmReading this as someone who lives off of my PC, this is a rather interesting article I saw on Yahoo today:
PCs being pushed aside in Japan
Then again, I also agree with the feeling the need to only upgrade PCs once in a while. My current machine is far, far behind the current trend and is about six years old I think. Still works for what I need it to do. I had plans to upgrade it by rebuilding it, but then the anime store closed and there went those plans. I have had to upgrade parts of it recently, adding more memory and replaced a harddrive or so. But the main CPU is still a 1.7Ghz Intel Pentium 4. Oooooold. :>
Still, it is a rather interesting article. I don't think the US is too far behind considering our phone technology is catching up.
