Man, that wasn't fun. Opening the door and having flies flying out at you. There were over fifty hanging around on the windows and stuff. Lisa was kind enough to lend her fly spray to me. After using that container up, I went to Walgreens to get more to finish them off. The first spray through did a really good job on them. I have sprayed them all and all the windows, opened both doors to air out the store, and swept up what I could. Now to catch the idiots that fly in while I have the doors open.
Lisa thinks that it is due to the dumpsters from Ms. Saigon that's at the end of our building...since we're the two businesses in the building closest to those dumpsters. I thought it was our remaining flooded stuff, which I went over to apologize and see what I could do about the flies. But I think she's right, because it has been smelling horrible there the last couple of days.
Ugh. What a horrible way to start the work day, and I was apologizing to all the customers that were waiting on me to open. They had to walk in and deal with them before I could do anything about it.
Now its thundering. It was raining a bit when I walked to Walgreens.
ETA: Okay, hearing the words "Oh my god, what is that?" from a person outside the store does not instill a sense of wellbeing in me. Especially since its about to rain.
