Yeesh, just wait a few more days people!

Okay. Apparently, there's a real scan of Deathly Hallows already out on the internets. Figures. Since I don't want to get spoiled, I think I'm just going to stick to fics or something else that is not so Harry Potter entrenched on the internets. (There is the latest and final chapter of the Tea series to read now. Wooo!!) Though there are the random idiots who want to ruin it for all, so I'll still have to be careful. I want to go into this book mostly unspoiled. (Though the HP7 "spoiler" icons have been hilarious.)

Though this does make me worry a bit about getting the book on Friday evening at the Barnes & Noble event. Who knows how many of the people there have read the scan...

Thankfully my flist is nice about LJ cutting reactions and spoilery info.

Though I'll state this now for those who are slightly worried. I may have trouble pulling some reactions behind LJ cuts (look at the Kingdom Hearts 2 posts for example), but I will definitely put all spoilery posting behind LJ cuts.

And darn it, I want to go see Order of the Phoenix again...

But I must type up resume for class today. I've gotten the powerpoint slides ready, and the summary of the chapter ready. Then watch Bleach v. 5 sometime this week.

ETA: Oh man! I have a printed rough draft of my resume in front of me. It's so beautiful. *sniff* My plan is, that since this is due today in class, that I'll use the suggestions that I get there. And I'll run this by my friends to look over for suggestions. And after all that, it'll be an up-to-date resume. Which'll be useful in the near future.

Another Speech Survived!

Gave my second speech today and I survived! This morning was a bunch of annoyances rolled into one. I was going to print the 30 chapter summaries at home but then I ran out of paper. I got a later start than I wanted so I couldn't swing by work to print them out. Then I realized halfway through the drive up that I accidentally left my flash drive at home. I was very annoyed at that one. Luckily, I had an earlier draft printed out so I used that instead at the copy shop. I think I did okay on my speech. It was accompanied by powerpoint slides. My grade for the last speech was a 90. So yay!

Erg. So tired because while I ate breakfast, lunch wasn't a possibility until 4pm. And I stayed up late again. No diet coke around here either. Since it's raining I don't quite want to walk to Starbucks while in a white shirt. Oh well. Caffeine will happen sometime soon.
