Still here, just deep into avoiding reality at the moment. ^_^
Well, not really, but close enough. Convention season rears its ugly head again and so the largest (or just about) convention is approaching and what I have to do at work to get ready for it is just annoying. And maddening at times. The amount of books ordered alone is disturbing.
But since the last time I posted, I have gotten things done. I watched all of the Full Metal Panic! TV series. Next is the Fumoffu spin off or the 2nd TV series appropiately labeled 2nd Raid.
I've read quite a few graphic novels (also known as manga) in the last two weeks. I'm almost getting a book done a night if not more. I think I've gotten nine books done so far.
And, of all things, I've starting playing video games again. I've started up .hack//Quarantine again after a near 8 month hiatus... or longer. I've lost track really. This was prompted by the .hack//AI Buster novel that just came out from Tokyopop and while I have not read it yet, it is in my possession. I hope to finish this soon. There's also .hack//G.U. coming out sometime as well. ^_^
School will be starting up again in just two weeks. I need to pay tuition (on my credit card as I won't have the money and from the looks of it, neither will my dad. Oh poor little credit card.) and I need to get my books next week. Yay, right before a convention on the same paycheck. Well, I get paid again on the 19th but I won't be able to get it until the next week.
And, I've been very drawn in reading Lunar's Vagrant Story fanfiction. Her epic story is fantastic and very true to character. I really like International Man of Mystery fics as well. It just works so well, and is so well done, it's fantastic. It makes my brain so happy.
Of course it just makes me want to play Vagrant Story again. I think that the game was one of the best ones that SquareSoft put out but it was received so poorly. It had plot, dammit! I played that game a lot to find out what happened next! And Sydney was a fun character to chase after! I would just love to see the graphics upgraded for the PS2 but that's never going to happen. I think I will run it through again providing my PSOne is up to it and after I finish the fourth .hack game. I think is going to be the seventh play through.
Hmm, I should go do some mowing or yard work or something. I need to get up and do something before I fall asleep. And before it rains again. And the yard does need mowing again...and machetes to tackle that back yard of a jungle. *eyes tall weeds*
