Some net, just not to me

Part of my net problem has been solved! Too bad the networking one wasn't. Grrr.

Didn't get Diabolo 2 read since I got home later than usual last night, and then spent a couple of hours getting the secondary harddrive on my mom's PC set up with an OS. yay. And then I forgot how to network the two computers together. Ack.

I think I have the solution now, but Mom's machine is still downloading patches and what not for Windows 2000 (since I couldn't get the XP disc to work). So I can't try it out until the next reset. She's thinking of getting a new PC as the current problemsome one is nearly five years old. I'm recommending a Dell. ^_^

So no homework done, no reading of Diabolo. At least I got to go to the local university track near my work and walked for 50 mins. Yay for that. I didn't get to bed early either, but I did get woken up by the smoke detector at 7 am. (Mom's fault there. The oven still had something in it when she wanted to use it. Lovely smell, really. *gag*)

Hmm, maybe I should go by Central Market tonight. It sounds like coffee night!
