School stuff
Okies, so I have crunch month coming up...or as I like to call it anyway. To you normal, non-school people, it's November.
I have a five page research paper over a Fortune 500 company due on the 14th. And another five page paper due on both The Prince and The Art of War around Thanksgiving. (I know the date, I just don't want to dig up the paperwork to find out at the moment.) This is both for the same class. yay...
I'm scared by the five page papers, even though for most people, five pages are easy. And they are, if I really think about it, but its the attitude I use for the paper that only seems to happen when I really have to start working on it. Luckily, I'm using Dow Chemical for my research paper and their page looks like it has enough on it to get a good start. And I'm mostly through The Prince. I should be able to finish it Friday on the plane and I'm going to pick up The Art of War today to also read on the plane. If my luck holds, I can get a good start on that too. (Which knowing my luck, it won't but I'm hoping it will.)
And I just found out that I made a 67 on this last test for this class. That's what I get for not studying but getting sick (or sick enough to have troubles concentrating) before this test did not help. *Sigh* Well, he did mention he may curve if the final grades are bad as well. One more test in this class to go.
Now hopefully, I can find out what I made on the test on Monday I had for this upcoming other class at 1pm. And if my group can decide on a time to meet... yeesh. No confirmation again on the suggested time and here I am finishing a report and adding to my livejournal since I came up anyway to make sure we were meeting or not. Obviously we didn't. But they are in the 1pm class so maybe we can have a quick meeting afterwords.
With the way everything is going, I'll be happy to get Bs for these three classes.

Or not.
I'm taking my laptop up to see if I can work on my midterm. I might bounce some ideas off of you two. I should bring some scratch paper so I can sketch up some ideas on the plane.
Cheers!
