Selling stuff
Okies, I will be cleaning my room on Tuesday...
You can stop laughing now. ^_^
Well, I plan to clean my room...the very part of the room that is the most cluttered of all - behind my computer chair!!! That's where I've been piling most of my recent purchases other than DVDs, as they can fit somewhere on the DVD shelves.
But I need to sell of some of my books, and maybe other stuff as well, to make room for the new stuff. So...
I think I will list some stuff here to sell after tuesday. I think there will be some doujinshi too, a toy or two, and at least one DVD. ^_^ If anyone's interested, that is.
In other news, I've been watching anime!!! And recent stuff too!
I love Loveless...It's such a great shonen-ai show with magic fights and cute cat peoples and what not. In this show, having cat ears and tail means that you are a virgin. How about that? ^_^ With four episodes in, I'm so obsessed with this show at the moment. It's really good and the production values haven't dropped yet. Its only twelve eps...but with the pace they're taking (roughly three eps per manga volume), its going to be interesting to see if they give the series an ending. The manga is still going at five volumes.
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles is interesting but I don't think the characters translate too well to being animated. The designs seem just a bit off. I hope it picks up more as its interesting but the really funny quotes and dialog seems to be missing.
Tactics is...interesting, but some things like the music and the stock footage is annoying me...the frequent flashbacks as well. The first episode has a flashback...to the main character's childhood...twice. This is another one I hope really picks up.
I have the first episodes of Meine Liebe and Xenosaga TV to watch...and lots more. ^_^ I'm waiting (im)patiently for May 31st's release of Fullmetal Alchemist vol. 03. That series is soo good, and so heartwrenching at the same time. (No spoilers!!! I'm watching the DVD release of it. I'm happy with the way Funimation is handling it and so I'm watching their version.)
Edit: Forgot about the music!! Yuki Kajiura (of Noir, .hack//SIGN, etc etc fame) did the music for Tsubasa (which sounds like her work, of course ^_^) and arranged the music/lyrics and chorus for the opening and ending of Loveless. Okina Reika sings the opening and Hikida Kaori sings the ending. Loveless has this French, melancholy sound, except for the magic fights. The music was done by Sasaji Masanori...which I need to look up now and see what else he has done.
Maaya Sakamoto has the ending for Tsubasa and Gravitation music singer Kinya Kotani sings the opening music.
