Stuff like this has happened before at my job. People will complain about something trivial (I wanted electronic not paper!!!!) and so we'll pull up their record and discover that they have 20 books way overdue (and sometimes that's not an exaggeration) so the boss will say "Ban them."

It gives all of us a warm fuzzy feeling inside (and makes up for the times when whiney people do get what they want).
